Kelly Garver Nieto
Professional Speaker, Producer & Songwriter Biography

Miss-America-Picture Kelly Garver Nieto is a professional speaker who combines her professional experience as a comedic entertainer with stories of her powerful conversion from Atheism and the New Age Occult to eventually becoming Catholic. In her incredibly funny and moving talk, “One Woman’s Journey to the Foot of the Cross,” Kelly describes how a non-believer came to be the creator, scriptwriter, songwriter, lyricist, and producer of Living Stations, an epic theatrical experience based on Christ’s Passion that is destined to become a Broadway sensation.

“What good is faith if you know you can do it all on your own? True faith is when you know that if God doesn’t intervene, you will fail miserably. And I like those odds,” Kelly said throwing her head back with a laugh.

Living Stations is a “vision” that God put on her heart while praying the Stations of the Cross on Good Friday in 2000. She felt a great spiritual pain during the 6th Station. When Kelly looked at the altar, she saw Living Stations and heard God’s voice say, “This is why you are here!” She knew she had been CALLED for this work, but didn’t know how she could ever make it happen. God heard her prayers and with the help of many, Kelly created and produced The Living Stations of the Cross in her local parish for ten years. To bring the story to the masses, Kelly brought Living Stations to Detroit’s Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in 2011. Over 11,000 people experienced this epic theatrical event. Attendance is expected to reach over 22,000 during the 2012 Lenten season. Be amazed as she takes you through this entire fifteen year journey.
“Thanks again for coming to (our program) Why Be Catholic. You were definitely one of the best speakers to date, and everyone is still talking about how powerful your testimony was. Father Bill even caught Alan after Mass Friday morning and said he’d already heard very positive things about the evening.” Launa K. Wakenhut, St. Michael’s, Livonia, Michigan
